Swing at Sea: Swingers’ Cruises

Taking a vacation is a great way to relieve tension and stress. While on these trips, you can use the fun, recreation, and the idea of doing things that you would not normally do to get back in touch with yourself. Many people feel that the isolation involved with being on a cruise that allows you to be one with the ocean is the best way to achieve these goals. Having fun with all the amenities available on the ship while embracing the smooth and relaxing ride of a cruise really can be the ideal way to vacation if you truly desire to get away from it all. The popularity of these types of vacations has led to many specialty kinds of cruises which cater to particular groups of individuals. Most of the time these cruises tend to be special weekend or week only events where an average cruise ship is merely rented out for the purposes of a unique charter group.

If you are looking for specific swingers’ cruises, you might want to look into adult-only cruises since they tend to have themed nights or groups on board for swingers. Special swingers groups (for example your local swingers club) can even book a collection of rooms at a group rate and hold events in reserved rooms on the cruise ship. While these are pretty standard for getting a swinger lifestyle on a smooth ship, there are obvious restrictions when merely being a unique group on an entire cruise ship of various people. For this reason, there has been a relatively recent movement toward the creation of a swingers’ only cruise.

Royal Caribbean

Royal Caribbean is the clear king of the sexually charged cruises. The ship in the Royal Caribbean fleet that normally hosts these sensual lifestyle events is called Freedom of the Sea, and the ship tries to embrace its name by allowing for sexual freedom across the entire expanse of the boat. Another line of swingers cruises will be held on Radiance of the Seas from RC. Since they are part of the Royal Caribbean fleet, the cruise focuses on the Bahamas, St. Thomas, and St. Maarten. This tropical paradise setting can really help you perk up your swinger prowess. Not only is Freedom of the Sea great for a swingers’ cruise but it also is just a good cruise ship in general. Most of the interior cabins even have windows so that you can gaze out at the sea even if you are on a budget. There are tons of shops, restaurants, and recreational activities like rock climbing walls, a surf generator, and an indoor skating rink. Clothing is optional on this unique cruise, but it is actually couples only. If you are a single swinger, you need to look elsewhere for a cruise.

Carnival Cruises

Carnival Cruises tried to get into swingers’ cruises through the sexually-themed YOLO (You Only Live Once) Cruises. However, YOLO was caught up in a defrauding scam with its investors as investors were told that the company merely chartered ships rather than focusing on sexual liberation cruises. They recently had to shut down despite being a huge hit in the swinger community.

Hi there. I'm Andrea Marc. My husband and I have been swinging for the past four years. It was definitely a learning experience at first, and I want to share the knowledge we acquired to help you make the decision to get into swinging or not in addition to all the extras involved if you decide that you do want to become a swinger. Swinging is a process, and you should not be afraid to back out if you find out that it is not for you.
